About the Business:

We are looking for an experienced Managing Director/Country Manager to grow the company’s business across the Nordics. You will help transform the business by moving from an export strategy to a local business development strategy.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Senior Leadership Team to develop operational plans, annual budgets and commercial growth strategies.
  • Take responsibility for the regions commercial performance aiming to increase profitability and gain market share.
  • Develop distributor metrics and assign new/replacement distributors as appropriate.
  • Lead individual market strategies and define appropriate RTM.
  • Build a new team to meet the changing needs as the business grows.

Key Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Relevant, commercial FMCG experience in the Nordics.
  • Successful track record in driving profitability and growth.
  • Proven ability to influence both internal and external senior stakeholders.
  • Experience of managing customer and supplier relationships including negotiations at a senior level.
  • Fluent in English and preferably a second European language.
