The Position

 

Due to an exciting period of global growth expansion that the company is undergoing, they are seeking a strong communicator and a creative and innovative thinking Marketing Director to drive the fragrance marketing strategy for Europe, responsible for all categories; Fine Fragrance, Personal Care and Home Care. This person will lead a team to drive the company’s presence throughout Europe.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert perspective for key categories across Europe and leverage knowledge to define best marketing strategies
  • Define, develop and lead the team to analyse customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies
  • Partner with external consumer insight organisations to conduct market research
  • Develop a strong marketing culture based on the total understanding of clients’ current and future needs, understanding of regional needs and the fit of these within the broad objectives of the companies’ long term plans.
  • Track performance of major brands and their marketing activities for the respective categories by country.
  • Responsible for leading and guiding the marketing team to develop major presentations with creative ideas in tune with market and customer needs for the targeted opportunities
  • Drive digital strategy through Social Media (Instagram, LinkedIn, etc)

Requirements and Qualifications

  • MBA (Marketing) from a reputed University
  • Min. 10 years’ experience in Strategic Marketing preferably in fragrance industry
  • Good knowledge of fragrance market and key customers, product portfolio, marketing & olfactive trends
