Position: Responsible for developing new and maintaining existing clients in his/her sales region, leveraging internal and external resources to make sure the healthy and sustainable commercial practices are kept in the region, as well as contribution to the development of global strategic sales plan for medium and long term, in order to ensure achievement of goals and objectives for growth and profitability.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • To cascade and implement all commercial initiatives for short and longer term, leveraging and connecting with internal stakeholders. 
  • Develop the commercial relationship with existing and potential new accounts within her/his sales region;
  • To identify and solve local issues, making sure client satisfaction at the same time.
  • To make sure customer satisfaction is in line with company targets;
  • To ensure short- and long-term accurate forecasting; as well as to work with client's procurement and demanding to make sure the improvement of monthly accuracy
  • Ensure that proper credit lines are established for all sales directly to customers, working together with the Credit Area, supervising the credit risk management;
  • Contribute to the overall market strategy and optimization of portfolio mix (pricing, products, distribution channels and promotional policies) of the company, through ongoing collection and analysis of information regarding the behaviour of the market;
  • Promote the integration / interface with the areas of Supply Chain, Risk Management and Finance, through the integration of the processes of sales and exports and the creation of internal procedures, fostering synergy between these areas;
  • Represent the company in the industry events promoting the increase of networking as well as capturing and communicate relevant information for the development of the business.

Key Requirements

  • Study degree: Higher Education in Business / Economy / Engineering
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years
  • Type of experience: Sales, Sales Management, Marketing, Foreign Trade, Import & Export Management.
  • Languages: English mandatory, German, Dutch and French are a differentiation
  • Other needed - Knowledge and skills:
    • Team player
    • Good skills in Microsoft office, Excel and power point, Strong negotiation skills, great communication and cross-cultural behaviours.
    • Problem solving and decision-making abilities.
    • Capacity of understanding and executing the company’s activities and strategies - results orientated.
    • Competence to build strong customer relationship with commitment to excellent customer service.
    • High ownership and resilience are a must
