Director of Creation, Design & Development for Key Accounts

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading a part of the Creation, Design & Development Beverage Key Account team.
  • Manage global and regional key accounts in close cooperation with the respective commercial teams.
  • Coordinate development briefings from product idea to production.
  • Management of product developments & cross selling activities for the CD&D Key Account Team.
  • Regular customer visits and presentation of new developments as well as innovations at the customer or during the customer visit.
  • Development of strategies and measures to expand customer relations on a regional and global level.
  • Coordination of recipe transfers to EMEAI and from EMEAI to other regions with the focus on global key accounts.
  • Close cooperation with the Global Key Account Teams in North America, APAC and LATAM.
  • Steering of innovation and product adaptation projects including product documentation and evaluation.
  • Close cooperation with the Global Sales Lead as well as with the Global Technical Sales Lead.
  • Use of all communication channels to establish and maintain customer contact.
  • Sales contact and liaison with customers on technical issues.
  • Support of initial production at the filler (if necessary).
  • Support in processing customer complaints.
  • Helping to shape a positive sales development for the customer.
  • Proactive development of customer related innovations..

Required Skills & Experiences

  • Degree in food or beverage technology or a comparable qualification.
  • 10+ years of professional experience ideally in product development preferably in the food/beverage industry.
  • Professional technical experience at a global flavor house.
  • Many years of experience in innovation and project management.
  • Extensive knowledge of development processes, ideally in beverages.
  • Very good knowledge of English.
  • Enthusiasm for innovative solutions and trends in the beverage market.
  • Initiative and ability to work under pressure.
  • High social competence, service orientation and strong communication skills.
