The Role: The Product Manager and International Product Manager has full responsibility for all commercial activities in the segment of Personal Care. This role drives the business, its strategy, growth, planning and implementing of key international suppliers in the whole EMEA region. It is crucial to focus on top-line growth by diversifying and expanding the supplier and customer pool whilst establishing deeper relationships and partnerships with existing customers and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a team of product and sales managers.
  • Managing key international supplier relations and implementing the sales and marketing strategy in whole EMEA.
  • Leading and coaching a group of product and sales managers to support their development and ensure that the goals will be achieved.
  • Implementing Global Strategy in each of the countries.
  • Preparation and control of the budget including marketing plan and regular business reports.
  • Active cooperation with stakeholders within the broader Business Groups of the business.
  • Enlargement of the customer and supplier pool as well as sales-revenues by constantly reviewing and optimizing the product portfolio.
  • Expansion of the existing markets segments as well as the development of new markets with the support of the sales team.
  • Continuously optimizing the processes and the structure.
  • Development and implementation of a growth-minded and future-orientated marketing plan.
  • Support of customers and suppliers inclusive the European and global suppliers of the company.
  • Representation of the Personal Care Business Group at potential and existing suppliers.
  • Work with technical teams to identify training needs and concepts.

Required Skills & Experiences

  • Excellent understanding and proven track record in the Personal Care sector.
  • Experience in an international commercial oriented leadership role.
  • Cross-functional team management.
  • Proven experience in generation of new business and managing substantial growth.
  • Strong strategic marketing skills and experience of defining and creating long term commercial initiatives.
  • Strong influential leadership and excellent communication skills.
  • Ambitious, agile, driven, energetic, entrepreneurial, target focused and accountable.
  • Proactive, direct with an integrative approach, can move things forward, can easily navigate in a matrix organization.
  • Intercultural awareness and experience in working within an international network and global marketplace.
  • University degree.
  • Excellent language skills in French and English.
