Main Responsibilities
As Marketing Manager you will be responsible for creation and development of marketing materials to support the sales and creative teams, as well as attend industry events, present to clients and provide internal communications and updates.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Analyse trends in the regional & global Fine Fragrance, Beauty and Home Care sectors
  • Responsible for creation of presentations, market overviews and pro-active concepts
  • Write marketing support material for fragrance submissions to customers (fragrance descriptions, presentations, ingredient stories, perfumer inspirations)
  • Analyse customer product portfolios, create white space gap analysis and develop new product concepts
  • Work with consumer-research agencies when needed to get an in-depth understanding of market trends and demands
  • Partner with evaluation and perfumery to drive fragrance design
  • Partner with sales to provide market insights and attend customer meetings
  • Watch and report on market trends and competitor launches
  • Create trend reports (colour trends, packaging trends, demographic trends, trends in other sectors such as luxury goods, fashion, food & beverage, health & wellness)
  • Track and report new product launches
  • When required, collaborate with colleagues across other regions by reporting local trends and activities
  • When necessary, use marketing presentations from different regions and adapt for the relevant market
  • Answer customer queries

Key Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in a B2B marketing or consumer insights role in a related industry, or product management within a fragrance or beauty company
  • Knowledge of different categories including: Fine, Beauty, Personal & Air Care and other industries
  • Excellent analytical and research skills
  • Outstanding presentation skills and ability to interact with clients and key stakeholders when needed
  • Have a keen eye for beauty, knowledge of the latest trends and fashions
  • Excellent command of the English language – Arabic is highly attractive
  • Be a team player and work well within a international team
