About the business: The independent European arm of a global chemical organisation, the company has already made significant inroads into the biologicals market in all aspects of crop protection.  With a superbly innovative R&D pipeline, it is bringing several brand new compounds to market and is growing around the world because of these successes. This position is would be perfectly suited for a professional who wishes to stay abreast with EU RA developments, as well as develop their RA experience on an international level.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Your mission for the role will be to manage the RA in Belgium (50%) and all RA procedures needed for all business outside of EU (50%)
  • Proactively manage, implement and deliver all aspects of product registration in Belgium and Luxembourg and  within international business territory. Facilitate submissions and follow-up of registrations in your area of responsibility
  • Work closely with the sales, portfolio, regulatory teams and International business partners to ensure alignment in agreed regulatory strategies
  • Communicate with international, local authorities and partners to ensure product registration is in line with local regulations
  • Be the key local contact and represent the company for all regulatory related topics both internally and externally with suppliers, shareholders, client, technical services and officials
  • Communicate with internal and external experts

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Essential: Relevant scientific degree, preferably to MSc level (agronomy or highly related topic); good planning and organisational skills
  • Essential: Track-record and experience in agrochemical product registration in Belgium and/or European regions
  • A good knowledge of the crop protection industry, including IPM would be ideal
  • Ability to work individually and in a team as an effective contributor to the Regulatory and Business teams in a multi-national environment
  • Strong English fluency, as well as fluent French and/or Dutch language skills.
