About the Business:

We are supporting a leading specialty ingredient producer who are active in taste, nutrition, and cosmetics, in the recruitment of the Sales Director, EMEA within their cosmetic ingredients division.

Within this role, the Sales Director will be responsible for leading the sales team, providing strategic vision and tactical direction, overseeing and directing the responsibilities of employees and represent the organisation in promoting and selling the product portfolio and services. 

You will help drive the continued success of a strategic growth business that has doubled in sized every 3-4 years through both organic and inorganic growth. Responsible for EMEA there is huge opportunity to expand the business and take full ownership of market and sector growth through direct customers and distribution.
 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Organize and coordinate sales operations in a specified geographical area.
  • Evaluate market potential and the status of sales in the area.
  • Plan and organize sales projects and activities for a geographical area.
  • Identify potential customers and nurture existing customer relationships.
  • Plan, develop and deliver the marketing strategy for products, services and associated brands.
  • Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals and supervisors, coaching and making decisions related to talent management hiring, performance and disciplinary actions. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Key Requirements and Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 6 years of related work experience.
  • Fluent in English and Proficient in English

Preferred Requirements

  • Three years of experience in a position of leadership, ideally managing remote teams and working in a global environment.
  • Experience in the Beauty and Personal Care Industry.
  • Experience working in a medium to large matrix organization.
  • Experience of both base commodities and speciality ingredient portfolios.
