US Sales Exec / Account Manager

Main Responsibilities:

• Responsible for customer sales within the Cosmetics sector in the United States (West/East/Midwest)
• Provide technical support and act as a technical consultant as required by customers
• Create and build new customer relationships and new projects with existing customers by introducing the raw materials in a detailed and technical manner
• Promotion of company’s own portfolio of ingredients as well as the products of its principals
• Establish a close relationship with R&D persons within the client organisations as well as identifying and visit the decision makers (Head of R&D, Procurement etc.)
• Review product portfolio and new innovations to ensure a solutions based service to customers
• Assist in the preparation of sale budgets and other management information as directed by the Head of Sales Cosmetics
• Maintain accurate files detailing visit reports and relevant correspondence between Company and clients
• Follow up of previous visits & correspondence and actions to ensure that sales opportunities are always maximized
• Work closely with Head of Sales of Cosmetics USA
• Perform any other duties as reasonably requested by the Head of Sales Cosmetics including joint visits with both senior management and suppliers as well as presence at the Headquarter for meetings and trainings in an adequate manner

Candidate Requirements:

• Technical background within chemicals & or specialty ingredients. Knowledge of Actives & Cosmetic Raw Materials is highly desired
• Experience in a sales role, having managed existing accounts and new business development
• Willing and able to travel within the USA
• Excellent presentation & negotiation skills
• Solution focused with a high self-motivation and tenacity
