Position: The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading sales efforts in France and French territories, with potential
expansion into the Middle East and Africa (MEA) and also wider Europe. The position requires managing key accounts and
distribution partners while focusing on the company’s growing flavourings business. The company is a family-owned
holding that acquired a new division in 2022, with HQ located near Paris and operations across 60 countries. Customers
include food & beverage producers in beverage, confectionery, savoury, and other categories. The successful candidate
will report to the Global Commercial Director and collaborate closely with other regional sales teams.
Main Responsibilities
• Manage sales for food flavouring products within France, French territories, and potentially other regions
• Focus on growing the flavours division, driving new business and expanding key accounts
• Consult and support customers to maximize growth and profit
• Create offers and conduct negotiations with new and existing customers
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans for the region
• Collaborate closely with the Global Commercial Director and other sales team members
• Monitor and analyze sales figures to ensure targets are met
• Maintain CRM data, obtain customer feedback, and ensure high-quality service
• Travel to the company headquarters and customer locations as needed (1-2 times a week)
Key Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in a commercial or business development role
• Strong knowledge of the flavours market and B2B sales
• Experience managing key accounts and growing sales territories
• Fluent in French and English
• Strong BD and account management skills
• Confident in a global business environment, with potential for international growth
• Familiarity with ERP and CRM systems
• Home-based, preferably near Paris, with regular travel required.
